The Leslie Model 825

The Leslie 825 was a compact portable model used by professional players who needed something easy to move and have the authentic Leslie sound on the road.  It was a popular speaker to be used with portable electronic organs.  It contained a solid state amplifier that put out 70 watts of power.  This model required a combo preamp in order to use is with a portable organ.  The preamp contained 2 inputs with separate volume controls for each input; and the rotor speed controls were switched right from the preamp which was in the shape of a foot pedal.  One switch turned the rotor on and off and the other switch controlled the rotor speed from fast to slow.
