Hammond Model A

This Hammond Organ,  the Model A was the first Electric Organ made available to the public in 1935.  It featured dual 61 key upper and lower manuals (keyboards).  the pedal board featured 25 Bass Pedals.  This model had no vibrato only a tremulant which could not be split between manuals.  The drawbars were the old style Ratcheting type and had to be in exact position in order to hear the tones they produced.  The preamp contained in this organ contained 2 Vacuum Tubes # 56 & #57 and the B+ for the plates of these tubes came from the Tone Cabinet.
